Our African (kenyan) community only acknowledges sexual relationship between man and woman (who are not blood-related). Anything outside this is shunned coz it's outside the norm. There's a saying that goes, '' It takes a village to raise a child''. This is more applicable in our African set-up. Putting that in mind, back in the village, even a neighbour can punish your child if s/he does something wrong. The same applies in this case, we are just being Africans, we have to mind others' businesses. Ask my opinion.....? The guy looks pathetic!!! He doesn't have a sense of direction!! |

Never in a million years, i really do not think it is a choice as much as it is fate. @ Supuu, these are people who have even been disowned by their families let alone being punished but they do not change. Look at Prince Manvendra from the royal family of Gujarat in N W India, never consummated his marriage and was disowned by his parents for being gay, and will never be king. I hope ya' all get straight kids because i dont think its that easy to disown a child. |
